About the Board

The Sudbury Design Society is a non-profit organization managed and operated by a working Board of Directors. The Board is responsible for strategic planning of events and networking socials, professional development opportunities and advocacy for those in the creative industry while upholding a mandate to raise awareness and visibility of design. All pursuant to the SDS 2021 Bylaws

Deadline for Applications

Applications must be completed and submitted to the President by October 7, 2021.  

Application Criteria

Only Sudbury Design Society Members who currently reside in Greater Sudbury are eligible to run for a position on the Board of Directors. All pursuant to the SDS 2021 Bylaws.

Our mandate is to increase the awareness and visibility of design, uphold the standards of professionalism and ethics, provide networking, professional development, advocacy and spark conversation about what design means and what it does for the world we live in.
